Background

Kristen West McGuire is a freelance writer and contractor for both secular and spiritual organizations. Over the years, she has worked as an office cleaner, a typist, a cashier, an event planner, and even as a chaplain at a mental institution!  In recent years, she focused her energies on writing and editing, including large and small project work, including book publishing and online distribution formats. In addition, she has worked as the point person for Catholic programs and services at a military base.

Yes, it's a little disjointed. But, amid all the work, she has been raising eight wonderful children.  Multi-tasking is her middle name, and she knows how to be lean and mean with a budget. She also has mastered the art of juggling multiple priorities, and focusing the attention of "small" people on the big picture. So, sure, motherhood might not count much on a resume. But...
